Not getting pre-approved before looking at homes leaves a lot of room for disappointment. You need to know what kind of budget you are approved for before we start our search. Before you start shopping find a bank or broker to help you with your finances. Once you know how much you are approved for we can begin your search. Not Focusing

A confused mind does ABSOLUTELY nothing. If you are seeing too many homes and not narrowing down what you are specifically looking for you will become overwhelmed and miss out on some great purchases. Keep your focus, know what you want, and know what you’re willing to compromise on. 

Not Being True To Your Budget

Pleaseeeee don’t become “House Poor”. You can avoid this by asking yourself the honest question of what can we comfortably afford? Do we need to start smaller and build up? How much money will we have left over each month? Completing a budget before buying is an important step to ensure lasting satisfaction in your home.
